Meika Louis-Pierre - Owner & Head Trainer
Recognized as one of Atlanta’s most effective personal trainers, Meika Louis-Pierre has helped hundreds of Atlanta’s men, women and kids jump start their fitness regimen and make wellness a priority. Relying on more than a decade of experience in the sports and fitness industry, Meika has empowered her clients to lose weight, make healthier food choices and eliminate risk factors. Additionally, her nurturing, yet no-nonsense approach has helped her clients build the confidence they need to accomplish some of their most significant fitness and overall life goals.
Meika received a dual Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship and Marketing from Florida State University, where she was heavily involved with the university’s sports program. She later accepted a position with the National Basketball Association (NBA) before receiving her certification from the National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF), and pursuing a career as a fitness trainer and life coach.
In 2007, Meika launched South Atlanta Adventure Boot Camp, the first boot camp program in the south Fulton County area, and currently the only local boot camp company to offer women-only classes. In 2010, she opened Fit Neighborhood, Southwest Atlanta’s only group fitness facility for men, women, athletes and kids. Her rigorous programs challenge and transform a wide range of clients, including stay-at-home moms, student athletes and entire families seeking a dynamic program designed for optimum results.
Meika is an active member of the Atlanta community and a former assistant coach of the 2006 AAAA Georgia High School State Champion Girls’ Basketball Team. Also considered an engaging local subject matter expert, Meika has been featured in Heart and Soul, Enliven Atlanta and Atlanta Home & You, and regularly contributes articles on nutrition and fitness to local publications.
LaToya Smith - Personal Trainer

LaToya Smith is a certified personal trainer and has been an instructor with the South Atlanta Adventure Boot Camp since March of 2008. She has a love and passion for health and fitness. In additon to instructing boot camp, she leads the South Atlanta Running Club and teaches the step cardio blast class at Fit Neighborhood. She has competed in 5ks, 10ks, 1/2 marathons and triathlons. LaToya is certified by the American Red Cross in first aid and CPR. She also holds a B.S. in Business Administration as well as an MBA from Florida A&M University.
Milan Turner - Personal Trainer

Born and raised in SW Atlanta, Milan Turner joined Fit Neighborhood in July 2010 to motivate and inspire others in the community to live active and healthy lifestyles. His passion for fitness stems from a desire to help people avoid, or reverse preventable conditions such as obesity, hypertension, diabetes, heart disease and other genetic ailments that have affected the lives of countless family members and friends.
Milan’s training philosophy combines strength training and metabolic conditioning to help the members of Fit Neighborhood achieve the results they’ve been looking for. He coaches semi-private personal training sessions as well as coed strength & conditioning classes. Milan is certified as a personal trainer by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). He also holds a Heartsaver© First Aid certification from the American Heart Association.
