How do I get started with Fit Neighborhood?

We are elated that you are considering our program. The first step is to schedule your 1-on-1 evaluation. Please call us at 404.549.8785 or email at info@fitneighborhood.com to schedule. At the evaluation we will discuss your individual goals, complete a body composition analysis and conduct a functional movement screen so that we can make the best recommendation for you to reach your goals.

I bought an unlimited pass for fitness classes, can I let someone else use it?

No. When you register with us, we are committed to helping you reach your goals. Each class participant must be registered to attend classes.Visitors may opt for a 1 class drop-in if they would like to try a class. The only exception is that immediate family members (husband, wife, children) may share the 8 class passes. There are no exceptions.

What level are your classes?

All of our classes are set up to accomodate all fitness levels. We start you at your level and work with you to keep you challenged. Both absolute beginners and advanced exercisers fit into our class mix. If, however, you have any preexisting conditions including knee and back pain, we ask that you get a doctor's clearance to participate.

How soon will I see results?
Performance improvement can take place in as little as 3 days. Visual improvement can take from 2 to 4 weeks depending on your effort level. After the first week, it's not uncommon to see a few pounds of weight loss, but some see results more in the way of inch-loss. Remember, everyone is different!

What kind of people are members at Fit Neighborhood?
You'll be inspired, encouraged, and motivated by other people, just like you, who are seriously committed to improving their health and fitness levels! Some of our members are beginners wanting to jump-start their program, and some are veteran exercisers ready for a new challenge. Most of our members have some history of exercise, but it's not required. Don’t worry! We’ll adjust your workout so it’s just right for you!

Will I be sore sometimes?
Many participants feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. After that, it is slight to moderate. It's all part of the process of improving your physical condition and moving towards the new you!

Are there shower facilities, or a place where I can get ready for work?
Not at the present time.

Is there a refund policy?
There are no cash or credit refunds. If you are unable to continue with the program you began, or if you miss 5 or more consecutive days (due to circumstances beyond your control, such as injury or major illness), we can freeze your membership for up to 2 months. This credit is nontransferable.
